Another 6 week easing stress, anxiety and depression course!

I’m really pleased to announce another 6 week easing stress, anxiety and depression course starting on Monday March 7th at the Back in Line Complementary Therapy Centre in Bicester. After the popularity of the Friday night course, I decided to add a small class (maximum of 6 people) at the new venue near Bicester Methodist Church. I really want to use Dru Yoga to help people living with with stress, anxiety, and depression and you don’t have to be flexible or fit…it can be adapted for anyone. There are already only a limited number of spaces left so get in touch if you want to join this lovely course!

New 6 week course on easing stress, anxiety, and depression

I’m really excited to announce a six week course for easing stress, anxiety, and depression starting on Friday 26th February at West Bicester Community Centre (6.30pm to 8.00pm; see class details for more information). It’s long been my desire to help people coping with such issues and I feel that mental health is often poorly treated in the UK. If someone had a broken leg, you wouldn’t tell them to get a grip and pull themselves together – the mind is no different. People with stress, anxiety, and/or depression don’t want to feel that way and there is often a lot of fear and guilt about what is happening to them. What these people need is support and kindness – not someone to drag them out of their nest – but someone to get in their nest with them and understand.

I know what it feels like to be stressed, worried, and depressed – but Dru Yoga gave me the tools to cope with these difficulties and to make my life better. I had a piece published in Om Yoga magazine in December about how yoga changed my life. I really want to make Dru Yoga accessible to everyone – you don’t need to be flexible or super-fit. Dru Yoga can be modified for anyone of any shape, size, age or fitness level! Come and join me and find out for yourself!
